I practice exclusively in the field of US immigration and nationality law. Before entering into private practice, I worked for three years as a staff attorney in the immigration department of Greater Boston Catholic Charities. I have contributed to the Boston MCLE Immigration Law Conferences as a speaker and author.
I am a member of the California State Bar and the District of Columbia Bar, as well as the American Immigration Lawyers Association. I received my B.A. summa cum laude from Yale University (1991), my J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law (Boalt Hall) (1997), and my M.A.L.D. from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University (1997).
During graduate school, I worked for human rights and development organizations in Guatemala, Brazil, and Mozambique. I speak Portuguese and Spanish.
